Valorant Protocol is about to get a new addition soon.
A new email from the Public Beta Environment (PBE) practice domain may provide clues to the identity of Agent 21 (codenamed Mage), including country of origin and background.
Riot Games has never been shy about dropping hints and teasers in the run-up to a new agent release, so you can be sure the email is just the first clue among more clues to come.

Who is the valiant client 21?
Riot Games hasn’t made an official announcement about the identity of the Valorant 21 agent, but the name has been linked to the new first-person shooter character.
The email mentions Varun Batra, the new Legion power source keeper. Legion is the Omega Earth version of the Valorant Protocol. However, unlike their alpha competitors, they operate out in the open and are publicly celebrated for their operations to recover Radianite from Alpha Earth.
Valiant knowledge only now deepens into the deepest Omega Earth. Shattered Cinematography and Introduction Pearlthe first map to be placed on Omega Earth, expands the novel in new and fascinating ways.
Although Omega customers have long been portrayed as villains, things may not be quite so straightforward after all.
Varun Alpha’s counterpart is a REALM worker and archaeologist, who is part of a multinational task force recovering historical artifacts from the black market.
As the guardian of the new power source for the Legion, Varun Batra could be responsible for creating the bridges from Omega Earth to Alpha Earth.
Fans were also quick to point out the Indian and Hindu origins of the name, sparking excitement for the game’s first agent from the country. Given Valorant’s growing popularity in South Asia, the Indian agent would come as no surprise.
Another clue is a new token found in the bulletin board in the PBE domain. The image can be linked to Agent 21’s powers and abilities, similar to how they raised Neon by having her energy backpack appear in one of the player’s cards in the Battle Pass in Episode 3 of Chapter 3.
The symbol also looks similar to a whispering hand, as indicated by the YouTube channel Brave updateAnother hint at the new agent’s potential Indian origins.
What are the capabilities of Client 21?
The name also sparked speculation about their abilities. Varun is inspired by VarunaThe Hindu deity is usually associated with the oceans.
This may mean that Agent 21’s capabilities will be too centered around water. Many valiant agents possess powers associated with items. For example, Phoenix uses fire, Jet maneuvers using air, Astra harnesses her cosmic and etheric abilities, while Sage uses the power of the Earth.
What role will the new agent play?
Valorant currently has six swordsmen, five initiates, four guards, and four controllers on its roster. To keep things balanced, Riot Games may be looking to release a Control Agent.
After all, the last time we got a new smoke factor was during the release of the Astra in patch 2.04 in March of last year.
When will Agent 21 be released?
Fans can expect Riot Games to share more details about the new agent at the end of Episode 5, Chapter 1, which will end on August 23. The new Agent Valorant will likely be released alongside Episode 5, Chapter 2.
