Herault: A former volunteer firefighter admits to being responsible for a fire – Arshid

On August 2, around 7 p.m., the Herault Fire and Rescue Services responded to a plant fire in the Bezinas Natural and Agricultural Area. The fire, which was extinguished within two hours, spread over an area of ​​more than 500 m2 without causing any damage to homes.

The gendarmes of Bezinas were then alerted to the presence of a suspicious person at the scene who was also seen in the afternoon near the start of the shooting, and was soon restrained by the firefighters.

He was caught on the day of the events when he was an alcoholic, and he ended up learning that, upon awakening, he was the cause of the evening fire. On the other hand, Attorney General Rafael Baland disputed any responsibility for the first outbreak of fire and explained his gesture with his alcoholism.

In front of the gendarmes, the person announced that he lived in Villeurbanne (Rhone), where he was a volunteer firefighter in the Ardèche between 2008 and 2011 and had come to Herault with his partner to visit her family. The man, who had already been convicted of acts of violence by his wife, was referred on August 4 to the public prosecutor’s office in Béziers.
